By “splicing” the rope, knotting and weaving, we make dog leads, pet toys and lifestyle products such as mats, wall-hangings, wreaths, bowls and keyrings, so that our customers can re-love and keep a little bit of Cornwall. Each of our products comes with information about its previous life, and many have a yarn or two to tell!

Cornish Spliced was Beth’s idea, who was just 14 at the time. Beth asked her grandad Frank to make her a dog lead from a piece of his retired fishing rope in the Autumn of 2021. Met with overwhelming support and interest, today Cornish Spliced is a family collaboration between Beth, grandad Frank, mum Rachel and “aunty Spliced”. Oh and Teddy the dog of course!
